Weekly Goalz

So I took a 2 day break from blogging I didn't feel like it. But just because I got "lazy" blogging doesn't mean I got lazy in real life. HA!

So lets recap last week goals and let see how I did.

Last week goals:

Remember I was aiming low... LOL

Children - Spend solo time with my 2 year old  just mommy and I. Going to be taking my little man out shopping with me. Guess at my age I love 2 year old, he's funny and I don't really know what to expect from him sometimes. Not how I had it planned since I came down with a horrible headache for two days. I did spend time with him but not what I had in mind.

Meal planning- Starting this back up again. My family agreed that they enjoy this very much. It saves time and money. My menu starts on Saturdays because I say so. This is going great this week. We are switching things around because we love to have soup when it snows and since we are getting snow today ( so they say...) soup will be moved to today.

Routine - I have to get a routine going here at my home. I don't know where I lost this and it needs to come back.  When did my two year old goes to bed at 10pm? When did this happen? I don't even have a laundry day schedule? I must get back to having a routine going for my own sanity. Yay for routines. Breakfast for the children before 9 am, waking up early though I have been slacking and waking up before 7am (shame on me!). Must admit is good to have a routine set. I just have to improve a bit more. :)

Date Night - Because I was working my FIANCE and I didn't do anything for Valentine's Day. I have some gift cards available for Olive Garden. Guess where we are going? Yeah, Olive Garden. This did not happen at all. We might try it again this week.

Friends - Going spend sometime with one of the coolest friend ever and she has convinced me to attend a Zumba with our friends. I think the crew has this idea that just because I am Latina I can Zumba like a professional. They are just going to have a rude awakening. This did not happen  because of my fantastic headache. :(

Now you know that I'm not perfect... LOL

Lets try this week goals. Keep in mind that my goals starts on Saturday. I follow my old jobs week. :P

This week goals (03/02/2013 to 03/08/2013):

So I aimed low and took a 2 day break because I was feeling lazy. In reality I took up  excising for about 20 minutes and even decided to start walking again this week. Is still cold but with the right layers and good company the walking feels great. I need to personally lose 20lbs (I lost the baby weight already!) and I need to start adding exercising to my daily routine. Mind you with a 14 yr old, 2 years old, and 3 month old is difficult but manageable.

I have not walked in a while so 2 miles in 40 minutes is eh..

So that being said lets get this goals posted.

Family:
  • Spend one on one time with my kids.
  • Have a date night with my man!

Routines
  • Continue to wake up early and post early in the mornings.- I'm doing pretty good with this. Two days I woke up after 6am which kind of set my routine back a bit.
  • Continue to stick to my routine.- Though I woke up after 6pm a few days this week, I continued to get one with a routine. :)
  • Add 20 minutes exercise to my daily routine.-I started this Sunday with On Demand exercise videos. Monday we went for a 2 mile walk with my teen girl and my FIANCE who are walkers. Doesn't matter how cold it is they just go. I decided to stop using the weather as an excuse and become part of the "walkers" club.
  • Beat 2mi/40minutes walking.-My dream is to run a 5K .. and with this numbers I'm so ready to tackle this. This is average for walk I want to bring this number to 2miles/30 minutes. Is it possible? We shall see.

Yard Sale:
  • Start planning our first yard sale ever! Research this online this week will be one of my goals.
  • Clean baby's closet and drawers. Not an easy project since I have make sure my two year old is napping before I start this project and have it completed before he wakes up. He seems to love when mommy makes messes.
Books:

I started to read Fifty Shades Freed. I must finish it... I must..

Friends:
I will be getting together with my cousins and friends this week. Hopefully!

So here are my goals that I am working on for this week. I am very excited that I am making progress on this. Yay me!!

What are you goals for this week?
