Weekly Goalz

Is that time for my weekly goals... GOALZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Last Week

So I posted last week now that I don't work I want to go back to a normal sleeping routine. Here are the three major goals I wanted to accomplished.

Sleep- I must get my sleeping routine back on track and working night shift just didn't help. I believe my one day off I slept through it last week. I've been up since 2:30am today. This is a ongoing issue but somehow today I managed to wake up at a decent hour.  My baby still doesn't sleep the entire night but is all good. :)

Children - I joked about spending my first day as a SAHM introducing myself to my kids! Let me just tell you that working 2 weeks with 3 days off (night shift) helped me boost my decision to leave my job. I think this morning was the first time in two weeks that I held my baby boy until he fell asleep instead of vice versa.  This goal was priority, though we all laughed about it I felt that I needed my kids to know mommy was home for good.  We spent more time together and trying to the boys to have a nice picture of them together. My two year old doesn't want to have his picture taken with his brother.

Menu planning - I have not gone shopping since I started work. I thank my FIANCE for taking over that department. He doesn't cook so I can imagine what they are eating. :) Menu planning helped me out greatly and it also helped me saved alot of time and money.  Well this was an epic fail. I didn't sit down and plan my meals last week. Instead I opened the fridge and freezer and went with it. I also went shopping and stocked up on cereal thanks to Target and  Weis. Maybe it was not an epic fail but the kids were not sure what we were going to have for dinner until dinner was serve.

As far as my book reading went, I skipped Fifty and went for Wimpy! The sad part, I still have not finished that book either. I will finish at least one book this week. I'm still trying to get myself into a routine. During my quiet time I tend to take a siesta.

This week goals:

I'm going to try to keep my weekly goals simple again. Aim low... very low.. haha.

Children - Spend solo time with my 2 year old  just mommy and I. Going to be taking my little man out shopping with me. Guess at my age I love 2 year old, he's funny and I don't really know what to expect from him sometimes.

Meal planning- Starting this back up again. My family agreed that they enjoy this very much. It saves time and money. My menu starts on Saturdays because I say so.

Routine - I have to get a routine going here at my home. I don't know where I lost this and it needs to come back.  When did my two year old goes to bed at 10pm? When did this happen? I don't even have a laundry day schedule? I must get back to having a routine going for my own sanity.

Date Night - Because I was working my FIANCE and I didn't do anything for Valentine's Day. I have some gift cards available for Olive Garden. Guess where we are going? Yeah, Olive Garden.

Friends - Going spend sometime with one of the coolest friend ever and she has convinced me to attend a Zumba with our friends. I think the crew has this idea that just because I am Latina I can Zumba like a professional. They are just going to have a rude awakening.

Ok, I think I have set my goals pretty damn low. So you know, chores like cooking, cleaning,  etc I will not be writing down as goals for the week. I think we all know that this is something we all have to do. I will only add them if I have a special project. For example, removing my baby's newborn clothing from the closet and storing them away. ( I don't recall my baby ever fitting in newborn size, but whatever.) Now that's a project I have to attack since I'm planning on having a yard sale this spring and donating some.

What' are you goals for the week? Did you aim low for yours or high?
