I'm sorry for not posting but RL has been extremely busy for us. First, let me start by saying that I am now working 5 days instead of my normal 3 days on/3 days off work rotation.
At first, I thought it was going to be so easy for me and my family, NOT! Not only does it take me longer to get to work and come home because you see I forgot about this thing called rush hour.
I spent more gas than ever! This going back and forth more days took a nice toll on my gas budget.
Two days off, some much stuff to do! With just two days off (weekends only) I had to cramp everything. Mind you doctor's appointments were scheduled during the week which I had work longer hours at work. No naps, routine was just a messed. I also was doing more laundry than normal! By the time I got home I was exhausted to do anything (mind you pregnancy is not helping).
Guess working "normal" hours (though I never left on time) was not for me. I rather work my long shifts for 3 days and enjoy my 3 days off. Five days of waking extremely early to waking only 3 days early. Less money spending on gas, less time on the road, more time with the family vs missing practices and DR appointments. Which one would you pick?!?!
I did keep up with freebies and coupons and shopping so that was a good thing. Though I hate shopping during the weekend!
