Fifty Shades of Grey Update

So a few weeks back I posted that I was going to start reading Fifty Shades of Grey. I finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey  ( I'm a slow reader compared to my other book club members) and a few days ago finished reading Fifty Shades Darker.

Fifty Shades of Grey was a good book.  However, I did not fell in-love with the Ana. We had a book club meeting last month and though alot of our members did love the book. The book was not THE BOOK for me. It reminded me of Twilight books just seeing how grown women felt for Mr Grey! Overall, I do recommend Fifty Shades of Grey. In my opinion it was a romance book with some hot sex! ;)

Fifty Shades Darker, for me it was boring and predictable. Again, please don't kill me, is my opinion. I had to make myself read it because I wanted to get to the third book. Yes ladies, I put the book down a few times. Our book club meeting for this book is on Saturday so I don't want to reveal why I felt like this. Maybe on another post.

I did start reading the 3rd book, Fifty Shades Lighter and so far so good.

What did you think of book 1 and 2? Were they as good as you expected?
